Character Description and History:

Dausin was born just over 25 years ago to proud parents, Eric and Alison Brawn. He grew up in the suburbs of the city and spent his childhood and adolescence living in an apartment barely large enough to accommodate his family. His parents owned and operated a small chain of local instrument repair shops, managing to make enough to get them by without much financial trouble. In his early years he was somewhat reclusive, perhaps due to the fact that he was an only child. As he grew, his social skills bloomed as well, albeit a bit later than others of his age. Aside from sharing interests common among most teenagers, Dausin also had a great deal of musical talent. He had a great voice, a witty lyrical sense, and a certain degree of skill in playing several instruments (a result of spending late nights down in the basement watching and helping his father repair instruments). His education was normal, being no more or less than the same given to the other students of the Twilight City public school system. When he wasn't hitting the books though, he continued to expand his musical talents. Soon he began playing around his neighborhood to earn a little extra cash on the side. As much as he would've liked it to, his fame never exceeded the local level. Finally setting his music on the back burner, Dausin set out to continue his education, paying his way through school by taking up a job at his parent's shop as a clerk. After 6 years of barely managing to balance his job and schoolwork, Dausin graduated from the Twilight City College with a degree in mechanical engineering, which ultimately led to his interest in the legendary metallic life forms of Zi, the creatures known far and wide as Zoids. He managed to land a job as a design analyst for the McGunigale Corporation. In this position he was exposed to the schematics of many types of Zoids. Over the next few months of work, one of his projects concerned a particularly versatile Zoid, the Deathpion, which caught his interest more than any other Zoid he'd worked with. After a few months of saving up, stockpiling extra cash earned from on-the-side musical gigs, and a generous employee discount, Dausin bought his first Zoid, which he affectionately christened with the name Dune. As one thing led to another, Dausin's free time steadily drifted away from music once again. In place of it was a new hobby, Zoid Battling. His piloting was shoddy at first, but after a few weeks of practice, Dausin soon stumbled into a winning streak, through which he accumulated just enough money to acquire his second Zoid, a Blade Liger. With his acquisition of another Zoid, his need to be in the cockpit grew, ultimately costing him his position at McGunigale Corp. He wasn't without work for long though, as he soon enlisted to the ZBC. Between his salary as a soldier and money earned from competition battling, Dausin has chiseled out quite a comfortable lifestyle for himself.

Since his enlistment in the ZBC, his appearance has been mandated by the military. Specifically, he keeps his head shaved, although he's naturally dark haired. The only patch of hair he keeps visible is a well-kept goatee. Dausin has his father's eyes, which shine a vivid green. He gets his complexion from his mother's side of the familiy however, bearing a natural tan. As a result of military training his metabolism has been "jump started," giving him quite a nice build complete with toned and fit-looking muscles. In terms of height, Dausin was always above average for his age. At age 25, he stands over quite a few others at 6 feet 5 inches, weighing in just shy of 250 pounds. Aside from a few ZBC uniforms, Dausin has a wide variety of clothing, ranging from shorts, pants, and dress slacks to long and short-sleeve shirts, sweaters of different types, and several button down shirts. In terms of jewelry, Dausin only wears a silver watch, which he keeps with him at all times. Usually he isn't armed with more than a standard military issued combat knife with a six inch blade. In his recent joining with the ZBC, he's acquired a few sidearms as well, a DGM-311 Handgun, H&A AZ-12G Raisen Autoshotgun, as well as an IX-233 Assault Rifle.

Through music, Dausin was able to explore and put some of his deepest feelings into his songs. As a result he is in tune with himself, and has a very calm nature. He works well under pressure, respects his superiors and elders, and also helps those who are in need. He has a strong connection with his family, bearing an inextinguishable love for his parents. Among friends, Dausin's personality changes a bit. He tends to be the "funny guy" and will always try to get a laugh from his friends. He's not one to perform stupid stunts for a laugh, and is quite charming when he's not playing the role of comedian. More than anything he enjoys battling with his Zoids, due to the rush he gets from the fierce nature of the whole ordeal as well as the thought of a challenge 500 meters across the plains from him. When he's not on the battlefield, he enjoys playing sports, going out with his friends, socializing, and taking the time to relax every now and then. Overall, he's a good guy with an open mind and a desire to live life to it's fullest.
