Character Description and History:
Description: Adler looks generally unremarkable, and is of medium build and medium height. He has blond hair and grey eyes. As of the current moment, he has been lucky enough to avoid any serious injury that would result in scarring or any disability. He tends to be fairly laid back, to the extent where people normally find him aloof despite his polite personality. Over the years, having cultivated a generally inconspicuous image, Adler considers himself quite apt at the business of ‘information gathering’ when not piloting Zoids. Despite having few deep relationships with people, Adler is a loyal pilot to his faction of choice and considers assisting his teammates in battle as part of his duty as a member of a team. Adler regards the military as serious business, having spent the majority of his life as a member of the army.

History: Adler comes from a military family. Despite his predecessors never achieving great things in the army, Adler lacked the ambition his brother’s possessed to rise to a high rank in the military. After seriously considering other employment options, Adler chose the army simply because of the pay, as well as the opportunity to work with Zoids, which seemed to offer an existence more removed from the fieldwork of his other relatives. From the army he received the majority (if not all) of his early training as a Zoid pilot. Adler was somewhat surprised to find that he enjoyed Zoids piloting, and focused on improving his skills. Despite never really making a vast impact in the military world, Adler was satisfied with his position as a military Zoid pilot. Having spent the majority of his life either in the army or socialising with people in the army, Adler continued to remain somewhat emotionally detached from people. While this is not generally noticed as Adler continued to act pleasantly and socially, it did hinder the development of friendships as he grew older. While this was partly a reaction to the sometimes brutal nature of life and death in the army, it was also an extension of Adler’s normally reserved personality. He is currently unmarried with no children, and has no current romantic relationships.

Regarding canon characters: Adler knows of some of the canon characters existence, but has never had the opportunity to speak to them, nor has he seen them in person. He feels generally neutral towards them, as they have not directly affected his life.

I’m Armed!
Character carries a knife and handgun, both holstered at the belt and normally out of sight. Character is also in possession of one cigarette lighter, multi-function army knife and wristwatch. (All of which could be potentially useful in many situations, or if he needs to open a can of food at exactly midnight in the dark. It could happen.)
