Character Description:
Jean isn’t your average girl. That’s to all the crap she’s taken by being a female and zoid pilot she decided long ago that where zoids were concerned it would be easier to be one of the guys. By dressing the part she has been able to effectively look like a rather small guy in his early teens. While posing as a male she wears a wig making her look like a metal head with long curly hair. Contacts change the color of her eyes to an ugly shade of brown while a bit of grease and punker type cloths top off the look. While keeping up this façade she is very crude and rude, often flipping people the bird or saying something vulgar. So far it has worked and no one has questioned her guise. She is also well known for hating water as a guy since she can’t exactly take off her top like others since she isn’t male.

As a girl she has medium length blonde hair not quite down to her neck and baby blue eyes. With the grease while off her skin and more flattering clothes on there is no doubt that she is female in every way. Other then the occasional slip from being one of the boys so long, she is very polite and well mannered. She doesn’t let many people see this side of her, for fear of discovery. Luckily her name is unisex and her battling license doesn’t list her gender, meaning she can battle legally without having to trick the commission. Significant research could reveal her gender thanks to hospital records, etc.

Jean carries a switch blade either somewhere on her or in her purse, depending on who she is dressed as. As non-threatening as she may look, she really does know how to use the knife and has used it in the past.

History:
Jean is the youngest of three siblings with two older brothers. She spent most of her childhood and teenage years having her older brothers be completely overprotective of her, much to her dismay as potential friends and boyfriends were driven off. Looking for a little respect she turned to zoid piloting as a way of showing her siblings that she could look out for herself. But even that was fated to blow up in her face. Women in the zoid piloting world had to be aces to get the respect a normal male pilot would, and she was just a rookie. Completely sick of being treated like a second class citizen or a girl who needed protecting she set out to devise another persona that people would have to respect.

With the help of a sympathetic stylist Jean was able to transform herself from a slender girl to a punk with greasy long hair and tattered cloths covered with various studs. She traded up her pierced ears for a more industrial look that was all the rage. She took her old ID and had it altered to show her picture as a guy and voila! Presto! Magic! Suddenly she was this little shit people loved to hate. People still treated her like crap, but now it was because she was downright nasty to them. No one took it easy on her out on the battlefield and people would actually accept her challenges.

Several years after the initial switch to being a guy she set out to gain respect once again, this time as her normal woman self. She got her second zoid which would suit her plans perfectly, the revenge trap. Jean became the oddest bandit in history. Rather then take the zoids or money of her defeated opponents she would instead simply leave after defeating them, rumors spreading of a pilot who would ambush pilots and leave their zoids broken apart. She always made sure they heard her real voice so that they knew the person defeating them was female. But even that didn’t work as planned. No one could believe that Jean could be the bandit because she was too nice and sweet, leading to further frustration of the fem-fatal.

Jean is still plagued with the problem to this day, and generally hates being treated like a weakling or written off as a nothing. Only time will tell what extremes this will push her to as the tension builds.
