Character Description and History:
Nylias trusts no one but himself, a habit born out of a life which has treated him roughly. He has been trampled and bruised, his dreams dashed and his family killed. But far from creating a cold and cynical man it has instead produced a peculiar man with an even more peculiar way of going about his life. He is his own man, he lives for himself and does so to the fullest. And after what happened to him and his family he has vowed never to fight for an ideal again. Never to take on that fools errand, less he join them in the great abyss of death.
Terran was born on the Western Continent of of Europa, a child in the temperate plains and the small towns which still dot the landscape. His town had grown out of an old Zenebas Military base, long abandoned but still functional in many ways. After the fall of the Empire and end of the war some former soldiers from both sides took their families and resettled the fort, converting the factory there into a sort of custom workshop where they crafted the zoids that would help them develop the land around them using data collected during the war and that which was stolen during their exodus . For generations they lived in relative peace, pushing off bandits and other incursions using their old skills and the skills passed down through the generations.
The Nylias family was amongst some of those former soldiers, a line which eventually ended with Terran. He inherited his families looks and ideals, as well as their skills, and was intended to become the new warden of the town when he reached adulthood. This goal, however, never materialized. Bandits had always been a thorn in the side of the town, or rather the town was a thorn to them. However, they had repelled them time after time. But the small town with the prize inside wasn't exactly something bandits took keenly to just leaving alone. After some nearby towns where burned and slaughtered, the adults of the town took a vote and decided it was time to end the threat once and for all.
Terran doesn't know what happened after they left, simply that the majority of the adult population never returned to the small town, which quickly began falling into disrepair as the young remaining members and the old where left to try and care for it. Nothing more then isolated brigands ever bothered the town, often driven off by young Terran and a few others, but each attack wittled away at their numbers and his soul. Bit by bit people died and left. So, Terran made a choice one day. No longer content to die young and alone he did the only logical thing.
He left. In the middle of the night he packed up his belongings, crated up two of the remaining zoids and left in one of the left over Gustav units. He moved from ruin to ruin, plundering the past to provide for his present. He now works as a sometimes mercenary and always vagabond. But he has begun to enjoy life, living it to the fullest however possible. No chump causes, no attachments except to himself, and no where to go but anywhere. It is his life, and he's yet to regret it.
The dreams at night aren't the greatest, though.

Terran is a tall raven-haired guy, topping off around 6'4" with a moderate build tempered by his time running throughout the decaying ruins of the past. Mostly seen dressed in simple clothing patched and cobbled togeather after excessive use has rendered two or more pieces singularly useless. He wears a set of blue and red cloths woven into a turban and scarf, with a similar wrapping of blue and red cloth around his right hand as a sort of glove and protector.
He carries a set of various mechanical and electrical tools with him on a low-riding tool belt which also carries the holster for his sidearm, a small PDW firing a 6.5x25 rounds from 30 round stick magazines. It has a top-mounted ACOG scope, and expendable wire-frame stock, as well as an optional silencer and an optional barrel-clamp bipod to go with also optional 100-round drums.
The tools are various items which assist in getting old mechanical systems working, at least for a short while, and a number of other 'adventuring' items such as a grappling cable and pitons.
He has a small stealth truck, similar to the one used by Bit Cloud abet shorter, stored in one of the cargo units of his Gustav for when he needs it, and given he's not really all that much for listening to authorities he has retained a salvaged AZ Rifle that he keeps hidden away for a rainy day, as it would be.
