Character Description and History: Yami is pretty girl with long, straight blond hair, often wearing a hat somewhat known as a 'director's hat.' Her usual outfit consists of a long sleeved shirt and a long pleated black skirt. In summer, she simply changes her shirt to a short sleeved, but other then that, changes in her clothing is rare. Along with that, her figure is short, looking pretty frail, and, with her grayish brown eyes, a little plain.

Her personality on the other hand.....is kind of.....weird. She seems boring, never showing a smile or a glare, but while her eyes show no emotion, her voice shows a lot. She's the kind of girl in which people say, "She's either stupid or courageous." In other words, she'll often say something rude to a man five times her size without caring, or, maybe, just not noticing. She's not one to realize what she's saying or doing. A little naive, yes, but sometimes it comes in handy not to think about your actions.

As for her past, its pretty simple. When she was little, and ever since she could remember, she was adopted by middle-aged lovers. Not knowing a thing about her biological parents. Her father was a pilot for a Hammerhead, though he never made it extremely big, he loved his Zoid and the way they were build to take a few hits and keep on rolling. He loved how they could pack a punch, "Even if they aren't fast on their feet, they're the kind of Zoid that would never run and would keep on coming, whether it wanted to or not." Of course, her father was her idol, and she never missed a match. She was her dad's number 1 fan. Even when he retired when she was 15, she was his little fan that took everything he said to heart, even if she didn't show it. He was also the only one who could make her smile, even if it was just a little bit. However, when she was merely 17, while heading home with her father, a car slammed into the front driver's seat. Under the rumble, her father spoke his last words while sitting up right, his face turned to the farthest back seat in which his daughter sat.

"Yami," He said, mustering up the strength to speak despite being injured to the point Yami felt sick.
"Dad, don't speak!..." She cried, not like she did when she broke an arm, not like she did when his favorite Zoid was trash, especially not like she did when she made a big deal out of something in order to make dad look at her. She cried like any girl would if they saw someone most dear to them die, as if their own heart was being torn out slowly by a human hand.
"Please...complete my dream...." He continued, ignoring her request.
"Please...Stop..." She pleaded, watching the glass shine the same red that fell from his mouth.
"For me...." He whispered, gazing at her one last time. It was only then that people began to check on their car and the police began to drive in. Yami didn't glance nor did she speak to the driver, she merely watched the days go by, her mind stuck on his last words.

She knew what his dreams were, she knew it from the bottom of his heart. He wanted to be known among the world of Zoids, even for a moment. He wanted his Hammerhead to be known, for all Hammerheads to be known. It was obvious that even a stranger could realize it with in half an hour of meeting him. Of course, Yami told herself she'd go beyond his modest dream, she'd go to the top, so far to the top that she could touch Heaven and still be known years later. However, she did not choose a Hammerhead for her zoid. She would stick to her father's 'heavy in armor and offense,' but she simply couldn't bring herself to control a Hammerhead if it meant risking their good name even a little, nor could she bring herself to be so close to him in combat. At least not so soon.

It was only 2 years after his death did she finally go to get her license. She had planned to go after she graduated, but her mom held her as long as she could, in which Yami couldn't help but stay. Still, she was determined, and after a year, even her mom couldn't make her stay. She got her license and took off to live by herself along with her Dark Horn and Deadborder.
