Character Description:
If you don't stare just at Yukiko's odd style of dress you'll be able to tell fairly quickly that she's a very peculiar, albeit rather short, young woman who emerges just at four foot eight. What kind of peculiar dress? A rather dashing pink dress, with a most elegant white stripe down the center, that stops just roughly around mid thigh. Fabulous black tights crawl up her legs and grasp firmly on the adolescent bottom. White boots compliments this of course, almost as well as the all famous belt wrapped around such a thin waist. Its buckle resembling that of the Gurenn Lagann symbol. Now what sort of fine young woman would she be without a dashing pair of orange shades to sit on top of a very adorable button nose? A terrible one, that's what. These particular shades appear to be two triangles joining one another on the edges.
Just looking at her solid green hair, some form of eccentric behavior is obvious. The hair is fashioned in pigtails itself, with odd little hair ornaments keeping them in ball form. Now, the green eyeballs come standard, with nothing freaky about them. To be honest, Yukiko isn't particularly fond of contact lenses, so she just can't do anything about them. The green lipstick might be a little much, but that's really none of anybody's business anyway. Seeing as how both her mother is insanely rich, no one thinks to question her taste in make up.
Now that the silly things are out of the way, it needs to be said. The Fox is an extremely young looking woman. Easily passing for a sixteen year old, she's done it on more than one occasion to get out of trouble. Maybe it's due to her short stature, or the fact that she’s constantly dancing around like a ninny. It could also be attributed to curves or lack thereof. Of course, in her addled brain it’s not a total loss. If instead of a child's body Yukiko had been given one of a sex bomb, she'd have no idea what to do with it!
Personality:
Well, you might notice that Yukiko Fox isn't quite all there in the noggin. She took a nasty fall back in the second grade, knocking a few screws loose. So when it’s said that she isn't all there it may or may not be an understatement. Her ideal of a great time is engorging heavily upon chocolate, watching the latest anime, and piloting large metal death machines. She suffers a bit from intentional ADHD and a teeny bit of ADD, keeping the bubbly young woman constantly bouncing around. How in the world can either of these things be intentional? Well, it's really quite simple. The Fox believes firmly in being happy and that the easiest way to be happy is to never really pay attention to the details. When it matters most, the green haired love child is more than capable of acting momentarily sane.
These little self imposed conditions of hers make staying in a single place for any length of time a bit difficult. Too much of one thing is a bad thing, as Yukiko always says. She's constantly on the move and forgetting the places she used to be in. There’s no use in remembering the past when all you want to do is move forward. Along with these things that made an education difficult, that little thing called a memory seems to come and go. One moment she'll remember things that most normal people might forget, and the next she'll forget that breathing is an essential thing. It’s mostly done for the cute factor, but partially due to the nasty bump on the noggin. Her short term memory just isn't all that great because of it.
History:
How does a creature with so many problems survive in a world with so much danger? Money. Yukiko Fox happens to be quite loaded. Well, not so much herself but her mummy, and not so much her mummy but the family said mummy comes from. Once upon a time, her mother, Rue, just so happened to be a young woman. Well, as the fates just happened to have it, she was once one of the greatest Zoid pilots. The team Rue piloted on rolled in the dough, and with financial backing from old money the team never suffered with repair bills. However, love struck her harder than a Death Saurer's particle beam. Inter team relationships are never a good thing, as they make people do things without thinking. Passion ignites within moments, and dies just as soon. As such, Rue became the secret lover to a sniper of godly proportions.
As their love brewed behind the scenes, the team's de facto leader found himself head over heels in love with young Rue. His heart bled for her nightly. Constantly poems, gifts, and wishes were given to the minx with the hopes of a little return. Each time they were turned down, and each time Quentin ran to the sniper to confide in. The two men were closer than brothers, and swore a blood oath to always have one another's back. This, however, made the betrayal that much worse. Like any good team leader, the young man found himself constantly in search for worthy opponents. When mother is away, the children will play. One day while he was gone, Rue and her secret lover collided in sheer ecstasy, a night so special that neither of them would ever forget. Unfortunately, Quentin came home unexpectedly.
Angry shouts could be heard for miles, and words were yelled with such vigor that they still burn brightly into their blood today. Mortified, Rue retreated to her family's mansion, refusing any calls from either gentlemen. To hide the secret of her love child.
Yukiko grew up with whatever her heart desired. Money happened to be one of the few things they never needed to worry about. Sure Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed pretending the feisty little green haired child didn't exist, but life happened to be relatively okay. Every night before bed Mummy would weave fantastic tales of battles and her father, who apparently loved Rue more than life itself. These nightly wonderments became something of an obsession to the young Fox. Her mind’s eye turned to all things mecha and never left again. It eventually drove the young woman to discover Mummy's old Zoid bunker located a little ways from the house. Inside, the Fox found her calling. A Shadow Fox stared daggers into her impressionable young heart. With it, the child ran away holding on to nothing more than the name of the Zoid her father had piloted once upon a time.
"Trascix."
Of course that's only half the story. Yes, roughly half because there was only one zoid mentioned. Sadly, not many people can accurately recall exactly how such a fetching young damsel acquired such a magnificent zoid. Come to think of it, Yukiko really doesn't remember either. Her story changes almost daily. Being something as outlandish as finding the zoid merely strolling down the street looking for a companion to call its own. All the way to the simply mundane, with Yukiko spotting the clever little wolf at a used car lot and buying it on the spot. All extraordinary stories crafted with years of practice, and who knows what's real! Well the local police department probably do. Guess some young fool left his keys and zoid running. Yukiko being the sly devil that she is, snuck herself in it and ran off! Neither she or the zoid where ever seen again.
